POSITION: Health Aide LOCATION: Mamaroneck Avenue School HOURS: Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week SUPERVISOR: School NurseRESPONSIBILITIES: This position involves responsibility for rendering first aid in emergencies to students. Examples of work: · Administer first aid treatment to students· May include calling parents· Assist in maintaining records of injuries· Assist in maintaining supplies for the Health Office· Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: First Aid/CPR certification KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: Knowledge of First Aid practice and procedures. Ability to act and make decisions in emergency situations if needed. Carefulness and good judgement in rendering First Aid. Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.
