Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and pastries using various cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
- Package finished products efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support food preparation activities for catering events or restaurant service as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet special order deadlines and customer expectations
Skills
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
- Ability to handle food products safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
- Customer service skills to assist clients or guests when necessary
- Knowledge of the food industry, including culinary trends and best practices in food handling
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
