REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must have current and valid CDL license (no violations).
- Minimum CDL license requirement to be a Class B with air brake certification.
- Ability to operate various forklifts.
- Ability to load and unload various sized equipment for agricultural, construction, golf and sports turf industry.
- Ability to secure equipment according to DOT requirements.
- Maintain vehicle logs according to DOT requirements.
- Ensure transport vehicle exterior and interior are organized, neat and clean.
- Assist with general yard maintenance, etc. when required.
DESCRIPTION:
Full time Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Established Long Island equipment dealer seeks an enthusiastic, self starter and motivated individual to join our Service Department Team located in Hicksville, NY.
Primary responsibility will be to pick up and deliver various types of equipment requiring flatbed service for new equipment sales and service repairs.
Drive “on road” equipment such as street sweepers, etc., with air brake systems to and from customer locations.
Primary territory will be five boroughs of NYC, Nassau and Suffolk Counties
