Job Overview

Maluhia Wellness is seeking a confident clinician who is looking for independence and would enjoy being a contributor to growing a holistic mental health group practice. Maluhia Wellness is advertised as providing quality integrative mental health and Christian counseling to clients seeking the speciality. Although not required, an ideal candidate would be passionate and/or supportive of this mission.

The client demand is largely for in person counseling, so the position would require at least 3 days in the office. The position would start at a part time capacity and grow into a full time position as the clinician's case load grows. (Definitions: Part-time = 16 clients/week; Full-time: 24 clients/week)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced based, mental health counseling to the population of your choosing.
• Conduct counseling and case management in HIPPA compliant manner.
• Conduct biopsychosocial diagnostic assessments.
• Create and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain thorough progress notes that are completed within 72 hours of appointments.
• Manage client scheduling from consultation calls to recurrent appointments.
• Processing payments at time of service and communicating with billing staff as necessary.
• Communication and coordination of care with necessary providers outside of Maluhia Wellness (client PCP, Med management, etc).
• Following up with credentialing staff as necessary.
• Active participation in marketing and growing your case load.
• Maintain continuing education credits necessary for licensure.
• Maintain necessary professional liability insurance.

Skills, Abilities & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted licensure in Idaho (LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT)
• Ability to communicate using strengths-based, professional language with clients, their families, and additional support.
• Laptop or equivalent device for completing notes and/or providing telehealth counseling.
• Secure, HIPPA compliant location to practice remote counseling (if applicable).
• Diligent and proactive at bettering professional and clinical skills.
• Self directed and self sufficient.
• Ability to create a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment with an emphasis on building the therapeutic relationship.
• Ability to articulate therapeutic framework and approach.
• Clinicians with one or more of the following specialities would be preferred: Couples Counseling, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Children, Adolescents, Play Therapy.

Work Environment/ Hours:

• In person in Fruitland, Idaho with the option of working Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays or weekends (with opportunity to expand in the future).
• Flexibility to make your own schedule.

Compensation

• $60-65 per billable hour starting wage dependent on experience/licensure level.
• Increases to billable hour rate will be made once a caseload of 16 clients is reached and again once a caseload of 24 clients has been reached.
