Job Overview

Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on gas equipment in commercial kitchens.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose gas equipment issues within a catering or restaurant businesses.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for repair, or maintenance projects.
• Conduct safety management procedures to identify hazards and implement safety protocols in compliance with industry standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations involving gas leaks or system failures with readiness for emergency response procedures.
• Use hand tools and gas equimpment knowledge to repair and maintain equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor gas systems and ensure optimal performance of gas equipment.
• Support outdoor work activities including inspections, outdoor repairs, and heavy lifting tasks in various weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, safety checks, and operational logs following company policies.

Experience

• Proven experience working with commercial gas kitchen equipment
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, heavy equipment operation, and gas troubleshooting in outdoor and indoor environments.
• Knowledge of process safety management practices and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, calibrations, and system evaluations.
• Prior experience in emergency response readiness within industrial settings is highly desirable.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance for outdoor work tasks.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen infrastructure, natural gas and propane equipment, industry standards is preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
