RN Travel Contract – Quick Job Summary

Shift: Day Shift – 3×12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

           Day Shift – 4×12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Weekly Hours Options:

• 36 hours/week (3 shifts)
• 48 hours/week (4 shifts)

Overtime:

• For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid after 48 hours

Patient Ratio:

• Target 1:4
• Can occasionally be 1:5–6

Required Experience & Certifications:

• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with stable chronic ventilators
• BLS, ACLS, NIH required
• IV Start preferred
• Minimum 1.5 years RN experience
• Level 1 or Level 2 hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Must pass online EKG Tele competency test before start

Floating:

• Travelers are first to float within specialty clusters
• May float between campuses within 10–15 miles of main campus if assigned to MVH

Schedule Expectations:

• Every other weekend and holiday required

Contract Notes:

• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census
• Contract can be terminated with 2 weeks notice
• Travelers not eligible for internal employee incentives

RTO Policy:

• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
• No RTO added after offer
• Approval at manager’s discretion

• Current Nursys report
