Travel L&D RN – Nights | LDRP | 1:1 Ratios | C-Section Exp Required
📍 Location: [Add Location]
🌙 Shift: 12hr Nights (6 PM – 6 AM)
📅 Schedule: Every 3rd weekend (may increase based on need)
➕ Note: Possible 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks
Join a collaborative Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit where moms stay in one room throughout labor, delivery, and recovery. This unit emphasizes skin-to-skin care, strong teamwork, and patient-centered support.
🏥 Unit Highlights- 10 private LDRP rooms 2 antepartum rooms
- ~50 births/month (600/year)
- 1:1 ratio for laboring patients 👶
- Babies stay with mothers (no nursery)
- Strong team-oriented environment
- Active RN License
- BLS, ACLS, NRP (Required)
- Fetal Monitoring (Preferred)
- L&D experience required
- Must be able to:
- Circulate C-sections
- Manage labor postpartum (LDRP model)
- Start IVs independently
- Monitor laboring patients (1:1 care)
- Assist with deliveries and C-sections
- Provide postpartum care (mom baby)
- Support newborn transition & skin-to-skin care
- Administer meds (Mag, insulin, etc.)
- May float to NICU (feeders & growers only)
