Travel Labor & Delivery RN
- Shift: 12-hour variable shifts (6:30 AM–6:30 PM / 6:30 PM–6:30 AM) (Some contracts may be straight nights)
- Experience: 2 years L&D in a Level III or higher Labor & Delivery unit (First-time travelers accepted)
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Preferred: ACLS, Inpatient OB, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Antepartum certification
- EMR: Epic experience required
- Must Have Skills: High-risk L&D, preeclampsia, preterm labor (<35 weeks), IV starts, cervical exams, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate, insulin, blood administration, circulate & recover C-sections, postpartum couplet care, normal newborn nursery (Level I)
- Preferred: Level II NICU experience
- Unit: 10 L&D beds, 4 OB ED/Triage beds, 4 Antepartum rooms
- Ratios: Antepartum 1:3 | Inactive Labor 1:2 | Active Labor 1:1 | Postpartum 1:3 couplets
- Float: Postpartum/Couplet Care throughout assignment
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Call: May be placed on low census call
- Orientation: NEO 4 precepted shifts (3 L&D, 1 Postpartum)
- Scrubs: Hospital-provided Cobalt Blue
- Parking: Free
