Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery RN - Level II (Nights)
Job Description: Malone Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel L&D RN for a 13-week contract at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. This night-shift position operates under strict AWHONN staffing and clinical guidelines to deliver premium maternal-child care. If you have 2 years of Level II obstetrical experience and hold all intermediate fetal monitoring credentials, we want to fast-track your profile for a June 21st start!
Weekly Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (1900 - 0730)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Flexibility: Required to work weekends and holidays as needed by the department.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated Level II Labor & Delivery experience. Must be highly competent in fetal heart rate assessment and labor management.
- Certifications (Mandatory Hard Stops): Active ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring credentials are required upfront.
- Licensure: Active New Jersey (NJ) state nursing license or multi-state Compact license.
- Clinical Compliance: Comprehensive understanding and execution of standard AWHONN clinical protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns, safely monitoring progress from admission through the recovery and immediate postpartum stages.
- Utilize intermediate electronic fetal monitoring skills to accurately interpret strips and implement immediate interventions as required.
- Circulate vaginal and cesarean deliveries autonomously while maintaining seamless coordination with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and anesthesia teams.
- Provide compassionate family-centered education regarding labor progression, pain management, and early infant care.
