Department: 2E SICU *Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS and NIHSS; Preferred: TNCC* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # Beds: 16, plus 2 additional procedural beds. - Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 higher acuity pts (ex. CRRT, immediate post-op hearts, MTP, OPO), 1:3 medsurg/floor status pts. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiovascular surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA), traumas (level 2 trauma center), NSTEMI/STEMI, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, ortho surgery, ENT surgery, any other surgical pts needing ICU. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with our patient populations and high acuity, we are the tertiary care center for MCHS. CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO experience are not required but certainly desired/helpfu
