🔹 Job Summary – Cath Lab/IR RN
- Unit: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
- Setup: 2 Cath Labs, 1 Hybrid Room, 7 Holding Rooms
- Case Volume: ~16 cases/day
- Patient Types: Cardiac (PCI, LHC, RHC, pacemakers), vascular, IR cases, mediports, dialysis caths, AAA stenting
- Equipment: Impella, IABP, Shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, Swans, Roto
- EMR: GE MacLab (transitioning to Phillips Xper in 2025)
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Timing: 05:30 AM – 06:00 PM
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week (guaranteed)
- Weeknight Call: 1–2 days/week
- Weekend Call: 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Holiday Call: Rotation as needed
- Response Time: 30 minutes (4-person team)
- Pre & post-procedure care (Holding area)
- Assist in Cath Lab & IR procedures
- PICC line insertion
- Administer conscious sedation & manage airway
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond accordingly
- Experience: 2 years Cath Lab RN (required)
- IR & peripheral vascular exposure (required)
- Hands-on experience with advanced cardiac equipment
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- BLS
- ACLS
