Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a global third-party logistics company (3PL) headquartered in Memphis, TN has an immediate opening for a Logistics Professional to join our team!
The Air Export Coordinator is an integral part of our operations team and plays a key role in ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and accurately from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review freight rates with carriers and determine the most efficient and cost-effective routing
- Prepare and quote air export freight
- Arrange bookings and coordinate freight movement with customers, carriers, agents, and third parties from origin to destination, including pickup, storage, and delivery
- Prepare and process export documentation in compliance with established procedures and regulations
- Master and House B/L preparation
- Track and trace shipments, POD Confirmation
- AES Filing with U.S. Customs
- Invoice customers and distribute shipping documents to consignees and overseas agents
- Utilize integrated carrier systems to print labels
- Work with global agents and sales teams to provide competitive pricing
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, branch offices, agents, vendors, and internal teams
- Perform data entry and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics preferred, but not required.
- Cargowise experience highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience required. Transportation and International Logistics industry experience required.
- Min 3 years of high level customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills required, including the ability to quickly respond to requests for assistance or information.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills and be process oriented.
