The Position
We are seeking enthusiastically friendly individuals to schedule, greet, and register patients for Imaging exams onsite at our Rego Park Imaging location.

As Northwell Health’s affiliate Ambulatory Imaging Center in Rego Park NY, Rego Park Imaging an affiliate site of Northwell Health will pride itself on delivering the most advanced and complex imaging care with compassion and respect, playing a critical role towards advancing the care plan for the patients in and around the Queens Community. Located at 95-25 Queens Blvd Rego Park NY 11374, Rego Park Imaging is Northwell’s largest affiliate Ambulatory Imaging Center in size, scope, complexity & patient volume. Comprised of both a Body Imaging Division and a Breast Imaging Division, a team of 30 FTEs provide imaging in CT, MRI, US, X-ray, DEXA, Mammography, and PETCT; all used for diagnostic imaging, and many used for image guided procedures. Job Responsibility
- Assists in performing a variety of registration, insurance verification, scheduling and billing duties in support of inpatient and outpatient access to medical services.
- Assists in performing pre-registration and registration duties; Obtains necessary demographic and insurance information and enters data into computer system; Obtains appropriate signatures on medical, legal and financial forms.
- Aids in verification of patient insurance coverage and other related data with third party carriers for scheduled appointments/procedures; Aids in obtaining patient's insurance authorization required for services; Documents authorization approvals and denials in computer systems; Collects money due from patient at time of service; may preform billing, receivable and related functions. Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Expectations & Goals include:
- Ensure that Patient Safety, particularly related to Patient Identification & Procedure Verification and in MRI Safety, is included in each patient experience.
- Foster positive communication, create positive patient experiences, and deliver Service Excellence during every patient interaction.
- Aligning Imaging’s strategic vision to meet the needs of Northwell Health’s clinical programs in the surrounding communities.
- Strengthen existing relationships, while establishing new relationships with referring physicians and surrounding communities to ensure timely access to imaging care.
Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience preferred.
The ideal candidate will speak one of the following languages fluently; Spanish, Russian, Cantonese, or Mandarin and be customer service oriented and be passionate about being part of a collaborative caregiving team delivering empathetic experiences with a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality of care. The role is Full Time onsite, employed by Mallard MSO, LLC.
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
