Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and analytical Logistics Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations. This role is integral to ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, transportation management, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes. The Logistics Coordinator will collaborate across departments to streamline shipments, freight, and order fulfillment activities, contributing to overall operational excellence. Duties
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, sourcing, and shipping
- Coordinate transportation planning and freight management using transportation management systems
- Oversee warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving and inventory management
- Utilize data collection tools and supply chain analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify process improvement opportunities
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve logistics issues and implement corrective actions
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with transportation suppliers to optimize costs
- Support demand planning, production planning, and order fulfillment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on order fulfillment and shipping operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or logistics roles
- Proficiency in data analysis skills using Excel
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Strong communication skills for negotiation and supplier/vendor management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail; experience in inventory control and inventory management is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent experience
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
