- Schedule appointments, colonoscopies, and endoscopies
- Provide patients with preparation instructions for procedures (such as colonoscopy prep)
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR)
- Handle insurance authorizations and referrals
- Educate patients on medications, diet, and follow-up care
Common Skills
- Knowledge of gastrointestinal conditions (GERD, IBS, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, etc.)
- Familiarity with endoscopy and colonoscopy workflows

- Strong communication and patient education skills
