We are seeking a Retail Associate to support daily customer-facing operations at a retail location in Carlisle, PA. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations.
This is a stable, on-site retail position with predictable hours and no late-night shifts.
Schedule
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekday and weekend shifts available
No late-night work

Role Overview
The Retail Associate is responsible for assisting customers with purchases, operating the register, opening and closing the store as scheduled, and helping maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for guests.
This role plays an important part in ensuring customers have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Register Operations
Greet customers and assist with purchases
Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
Answer basic customer questions and provide general assistance
Assist with opening and closing procedures as scheduled
Store Appearance & Cleanliness:
Keep counters, hallways, and common areas clean and orderly
Walk the property regularly to ensure public-facing areas are presentable
Pick up trash and report any issues that need attention
Help ensure sidewalks and entry areas are clear and safe
General Support Duties:
Assist with light cleaning tasks as needed
Occasionally assist with salting sidewalks or entryways during inclement weather
Lift and maneuver merchandise or items as needed (within reasonable limits)
Communicate issues or concerns to management promptly
Qualifications:
Reliable and punctual
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
Comfortable standing, walking, and performing light physical tasks throughout the shift
Able to lift and move items as needed
Willing to work some weekend shifts
Local to Carlisle or surrounding area preferred
