Director of Security

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to lead our security operations and ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, with a proven track record in conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective security policies and procedures while fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive security strategies to protect company assets and personnel.
• Manage security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies for emergency response planning and incident management.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide first aid and CPR training to security staff as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in a leadership role within security management, law enforcement, or military service.
• Strong skills in conflict management and resolution.
• Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
