What You'll Do
- Assess & Support: Conduct thorough mental and physical assessments, identifying needs and creating personalized care plans.
- Lead Recovery: Administer and manage medications, educate patients and families, and track progress in a collaborative, trauma-informed way.
- Guide & Empower: Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic support during acute moments of need.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to ensure holistic care.
- Create Safety & Structure: Maintain a positive, therapeutic environment that promotes trust, dignity, and healing.
- Float between 2 facilities
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience in patient education and advocacy
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
- MUST have experience with NARCAN
