As a Key Holder/Sales Associate, you'll be the heartbeat of our retail environment! In this energetic role, you'll combine your passion for sales with leadership responsibilities to create an engaging shopping experience. As a key holder, you'll support store operations, supervise team members, and ensure the store runs smoothly. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire customers and colleagues alike, helping us achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your retail career in a lively, supportive setting.
Please note: Weekend Availability is a must.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, demonstrations, and inquiries to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Upsell products and services by identifying customer needs and offering tailored recommendations
- Manage stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to maintain an attractive store environment
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cashiering duties, and balancing registers at shift end
- Supervise daily store activities in the absence of management, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Once trained, open & close the boutique while following procedures
- Maintain effective communication with team members through phone etiquette and team briefings to promote a collaborative atmosphere
- Maintain the upkeep of the store’s visual appearance through cleaning, vacuuming, steaming, & waxing racks
- Have a positive and upbeat attitude!
Experience
- A strong go-getter with a very positive attitude who thrives in an up-beat, fun work environment
- Supervising experience is a plus; demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate team members
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently and professionally with customers and team members
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to boost sales performance
- Knowledge of merchandising standards, stock replenishment procedures, and store presentation best practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
