Job description
The vault clerk is responsible for checking-in valuables received from the guards and armored trucks, conducting data entry regarding holdover items, maintaining the inventory of liability, balancing the vault and preparing liability for delivery. This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Malca-Amit and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Malca-Amit and its customers.
responsibilities
- Be responsible for the security of the cargo checked into and out of the vault.
- Process liability to ensure that it is ready for delivery.
- Follow and perform required verification, balancing and route preparation.
- Cross train and cover for other vault position as needed.
- Basic knowledge of general office procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with computers and other office equipment.
- Ability to collect and organize information is required.
requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold US citizenship.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum 2 years of valuable handling experience.
- Knowledge of all vault operations and balancing of the vault - we will train the right individual in these functions.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good basic math skills.
