Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bussing tables and cleaning glassware.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations and manage seating arrangements effectively.
- Demonstrate strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink pricing.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation calculations.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local regulations.
