About The Role
The Material Specialist is responsible for coordinating product delivery to ensure manufacturing has raw materials on hand at the facility.
What You'll Accomplish
- Records all inter-site movement of raw materials daily.
- Responsible for ensuring all original, hard copy BOLs from 3M, Gillibrand, OMYA, and Trumbill are entered in the software system daily with input on production schedule data.
- Communicates with the manager when schedule changes have been made using the schedule notification process.
- Reviews product schedules to coordinate raw material delivery, making decisions on the most cost-effective/ timely mode.
- Arranges with vendors directly to ensure manufacturing has raw material on hand.
- Works closely with the corporate office, coordinating appropriate delivery of materials as necessary.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree

Additional Requirements
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
