About The Role

The Health and Safety Manager partners with plant leadership, frontline teams, and the Senior Health and Safety Manager to strengthen a proactive safety culture. This role ensures regulatory compliance, leads key safety programs, and serves as the primary on-site resource for all health and safety initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safety Leadership & Culture:

• Champion a safety-first culture by engaging with employees, supervisors, and plant leadership to embed safe work practices into daily operations.
• Partner with plant leadership and the Senior Health and Safety Manager to develop and implement safety programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and other relevant health and safety standards.
• Conducts and oversees plant safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace hazard evaluations, recommending corrective measures as needed.
  
  

Incident Prevention & Response

• Lead accident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs for all employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  
  

Collaboration & Partnership

• Work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns and develop practical, effective solutions.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field is preferred.
• Three to five years of health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard assessments, and safety program implementation is essential.
• Experience in conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and developing corrective actions is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
