Malamut Law is seeking an experienced Respondent Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation defense cases from inception to resolution.
- Appear at workers’ compensation court hearings throughout New Jersey.
- Conduct depositions, legal research, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients, including risk assessment and case valuation.
- Maintain accurate case records and meet all filing deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience handling respondent-side workers’ compensation matters in NJ.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
