What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi Site RBT / Administrative Hybrid position at Malama Pono Autism Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced individual for a hybrid Multi-Site RBT and administrative role to join our team. This position requires a flexible professional who can seamlessly transition between multiple service delivery settings to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA services across our organization.
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time hourly position. Mileage and drive time between work settings will be compensated.
SETTINGS: Multi-site coverage including Department of Education (DOE) schools in North Central, South Central, and Leeward districts, clinic, and home-based services, as well as administrative duties completed
Position reports to: DOE Program Coordinator
Rate of Pay: $25 (will be commensurate with experience)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery
Provide RBT coverage across three primary settings: DOE schools, clinic-based services, and home-based services
Provide RBT coverage
Work with BCBA/BCaBA to monitor/implement BIPs for Clients
Adhere to company Policies and Procedures
Adheres to state and national ethical codes of conduct for RBTs
Maintain up-to-date certifications
Complete necessary trainings
Maintain client confidentially and adhere to HIPPA laws
Maintain a safe and professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming hair, and make-up
Ensure client safety and well-being
Report observed unsafe environments, behaviors or circumstances
Other duties/tasks as assigned by supervisor
Administrative
Maintain consistent communication with schedule team via email to support operational needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and session notes
Complete weekly administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor. Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as needed.
Collaboration & Communication
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration to ensure smooth service delivery across settings
Report client progress and any concerns to supervisors in real-time
Provide timely updates on availability and schedule changes to facilitate efficient scheduling
Communicate clearly and efficiently with BCBAs, supervisors, and team members
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification & Experience
Current RBT certification in good standing
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RBT
Minimum 12 months of experience providing ABA services in DOE/school settings preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills & Competencies
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to adjust schedules and locations based on organizational needs
Professional demeanor across diverse settings and client populations
Comfort with frequent travel between multiple locations throughout the workday
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Availability to work 40 hours per week
Primary schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Serve as the primary RBT coverage for DOE school settings, fulfilling clinic and home-based coverage responsibilities once DOE coverages have been met.
Extended hours until 5:30pm may be required on select days. Schedule will be adjusted to accommodate extended hours.
Must be able to adjust schedule with minimal notice
