Welder - MIG

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Training thru technical program
• AWS MIG/TIG Welding certification
• 2-3 years of Welding experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Ability to work independently or with supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing would be considered an asset

Essential Results and Duties:

• Weld components as per prints provided, ensuring all tolerances are met.
• Welding of all and any metal assemblies within provided Weld Specifications
• Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided
• Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
• Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company
• Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications as well as removal of all Spatter
• Assemble parts according to provided drawings and specifications
• Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required

We are open for 2 shifts:

• 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
