Position Summary
The Project Manager will oversee multiple construction and facility infrastructure projects simultaneously, with a primary focus on MEP systems, HVAC upgrades, roofing replacements, and capital improvement initiatives across corporate campuses. This individual will coordinate all phases of projects including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, construction oversight, reporting, and project closeout.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish and be comfortable working independently without project coordinator support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects through all project phases
- Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
- Lead weekly project meetings and maintain detailed project documentation
- Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Track project financials, purchase orders, invoices, and reporting metrics
- Provide regular project updates regarding schedule, budget, and risk status
- Ensure stakeholder communication remains clear and consistent throughout project lifecycle
- Oversee MEP-focused projects including HVAC systems, roofing, and facility infrastructure improvements
- Coordinate activities between property management, engineering, security, technology, and client teams
- Review contractor proposals, RFPs, and vendor compliance documentation
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to team development efforts
- Travel locally between nearby campuses as needed
- 6 years of experience in construction or project management
- 23 years of hands-on project administration or budgeting experience
- Strong background in commercial construction and MEP infrastructure projects
- Experience managing projects independently from initiation through closeout
- Knowledge of project estimating, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
- Experience within commercial real estate or facilities construction environments
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, space planning, and technical relocation projects
- Experience with vendor management and project compliance procedures
- Understanding of risk management and work authorization processes
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate campus construction projects
- MEP or facilities-focused construction background
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
