Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally and guide them to their tables.
- Take accurate orders using Toast POS or other POS systems and clearly communicate menu information.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Recommend menu items, daily specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by promptly bussing tables and assisting with basic food handling when needed.
- Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred.
- Experience using Toast POS or other POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong sales and upselling skills with the ability to recommend menu items and improve the guest experience.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team.
