Malatown is a fast-growing restaurant brand expanding across the United States, focused on building a scalable and standardized multi-unit operation system.
We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven People & Culture Operations Manager to build and scale our HR and organizational systems from the ground up.
Language Requirement:
-Must be able to communicate fluently in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, as this role requires working closely with bilingual teams and documentation.
What You’ll Do:
Build Recruiting Systems:
- Design and manage end-to-end hiring processes
- Develop scalable recruiting channels
- Create structured interview processes
- Partner with store managers
Own Performance Management:
- Build performance review systems
- Create KPI-driven scorecards
- Ensure completion and accountability
Develop Training Programs:
- Build onboarding systems
- Create SOP-based materials
- Track training completion
Drive Culture & Organizational Development:
- Define company culture
- Build engagement programs
- Support leadership development
Manage HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee onboarding and HR systems
- Ensure compliance with labor laws
- Maintain documentation
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years HR or People Ops experience
- Multi-unit experience preferred
- Ability to build systems from scratch
- Strong execution mindset
