The Opportunity
This is a pure hunter role designed for a proven freight sales professional who knows how to open doors, close shipper accounts, and build a profitable book of business. This is not an SDR, farming, or account-maintenance role. You will be expected to generate net-new business and convert it into sustained freight volume.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and acquire new shipper accounts through cold calling, email outreach, and targeted prospecting
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through contract execution and initial freight ramp-up
- Identify shipper pain points and position tailored brokerage solutions
- Build and grow a sustainable book of business with repeatable volume
- Partner with operations to ensure seamless post-sale execution
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting in CRM systems
What You Bring
- 3 years of proven freight brokerage or logistics sales experience
- Ability to bring an existing book of shipper relationships, with demonstrated volume and revenue is preferred
- Documented success closing net-new shipper accounts
- Strong cold-calling, objection-handling, and negotiation skills
- Understanding of freight brokerage economics and margin discipline
- Self-directed, competitive, and accountable mindset
