Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, vendors, and contractors, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate team members and departments.
- Maintain reception and common office areas to ensure a professional appearance.
- Assist Human Resources with onboarding activities, visitor orientation materials, and employee communications as needed.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, dealers, distributors, and end users via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, availability, lead times, and shipping information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within the agricultural, equine, livestock, and specialty retail markets.
- Professionally resolve customer concerns and coordinate solutions with internal teams.
- Accurately enter and process customer orders within the company's ERP system.
- Verify pricing, inventory availability, shipping requirements, and product specifications.
- Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates, delays, and delivery information to customers and internal team.
- Coordinate with production, planning, purchasing, and shipping departments to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Support sales initiatives by preparing quotations, processing sales-related documentation, and following up on customer requests.
- Assist dealers and distributors with product information, promotional programs, and account needs.
- Maintain customer records, pricing files, and account documentation.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to support the continued growth of the High Country Plastics product portfolio.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and inventory teams to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate production schedules and inventory updates to customers and sales representatives.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to support product and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Generate reports and provide order status updates as needed.
- Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, administration, or finance-related roles (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to Sit, stand and walk for long periods.
