Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sausage production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained throughout the shift
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment for cleanliness, proper functioning, and adherence to sanitation protocols
• Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to uphold food safety and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks including ingredient handling, portioning, and packaging of sausage products
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with sanitation procedures and food industry regulations
• Support food processing activities by performing basic mechanical troubleshooting on machinery when necessary
• Use forklift or other material handling equipment to move raw materials or finished products safely within the manufacturing facility

Skills

• Experience in food production, manufacturing, or kitchen environments with strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices
• Culinary skills such as knife techniques, baking, or cooking experience are advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
• Familiarity with HACCP, CGMP, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for ingredient measurements and quality checks
• Food industry or restaurant experience that demonstrates strong food preparation skills
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards

Pay: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour
