Human Resource Generalist β Jersey City, NJ (Onsite) 6 Months Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR functions including administration, operations, benefits management, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, and recruitment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining compliance with company policies, and supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HR administration and daily HR operations to ensure efficient and compliant processes.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system updates, and orientation.
- Support payroll processing by maintaining accurate employee records and coordinating with payroll teams.
- Administer and support employee benefits programs, addressing employee queries and ensuring proper enrollment.
- Handle employee relations matter by providing guidance on HR policies and resolving employee concerns.
- Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer process.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, and employee data.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently followed across the organization.
- Support HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in HR administration, operations, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and recruitment.
- Strong understanding of onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
