CDL-A Drivers Needed in South Burlington, VT | Dedicated Solo Opportunities | $325/Day
SRP-VT, Inc. is now hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for FedEx Ground linehaul operations based out of South Burlington, VT. We currently have Dedicated Solo opportunities available.z
If you have Class A CDL experience with companies such as FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, Werner, or similar carriers, you may be a great fit.
We are looking for safe, reliable, and professional drivers who want competitive pay, newer equipment, consistent routes, and home-daily opportunities.
Position Details
Dedicated Solo CDL Driver with $2,500 sign on bonus
Run Type: Nightly round trips between Vermont and Connecticut
Schedule: Varies
Terminal: South Burlington, VT
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no accidents or tickets within the past 3 years
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to follow instructions and successfully complete required training
- Must complete required background check, MVR screening, FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements, and drug test
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles where applicable
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
- Handle Drop & Hook freight
- Handle No-Touch Freight
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate driver logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays, arrivals, and equipment issues
- Comply with all applicable DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
