Job Title
Offshore Cook (Day and Night)
General Summary
Cooks prepare and cook nutritious meals daily, on vessels or other offshore facilities. May work in conjunction with Galley Hands.
Job Functions
- Cook different types of meals.
- Being familiar with safety issues associated with food.
- Maintaining food storage areas.
- Maintaining inventory of food supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen appliances.
- Inspecting kitchen equipment.
Reporting
Reports directly to the On-Job Site Supervisor and MAKO Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must have prior experience.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
- Must be able to pass a physical.
- Must be able to pass training requirements.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.'
