Bakery Clerk / Cake Decorator is responsible for working as a key component of the Bakery and Food Service team.
Pay rate is based on previous baking and cake decorating experience.
Responsibilities include: decorating, baking bread, cookies, pastries, pies, etc.; merchandising; taking customer cake orders and special requests accurately; planning for holidays and seasons; proposing new designs; working closely with teammates to ensure performance of the department; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; providing a high level of customer service; and performing other duties as assigned. Full-time or Part-time available.
Required:
- Ability to decorate or write on cakes (will train)
- Ability to work up to eight hours per day
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to reach and stock items up to six feet high
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to operate stock dollies and box cutters
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers
