Overview
Mako's client is seeking a C4C Migration Specialist to lead and execute a migration from SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) version 1 to version 2. The client recently purchased the new C4C v2 platform and requires a seasoned professional to guide their internal team through the data and configuration migration process over the next several months. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert with prior experience in end-to-end C4C version migrations who can quickly assess the current environment, identify gaps, and ensure a smooth transition to C4C v2.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or provide senior-level support in migrating C4C v1 to C4C v2, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Define and execute migration steps, including data extraction, configuration, and re-deployment in the v2 environment.
- Apply lessons learned and best practices from prior migrations to anticipate and resolve challenges efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the internal team to accelerate key migration milestones and maintain project momentum.
- Validate data integrity, business processes, and user experience post-migration.
- Communicate migration progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) configuration, administration, and migration.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to at least one successful C4C v1 v2 migration project.
- In-depth understanding of C4C migration processes, including data transfer, configuration mapping, and post-migration validation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal IT and business teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
