Mako Industries is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters for offshore projects. Candidates must have strong experience in pipe fabrication, layout, installation, and assembly in offshore oil & gas environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
- Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe systems
- Install carbon steel, stainless steel, and process piping systems
- Perform pipe alignment and fit-up for welding crews
- Work with valves, flanges, supports, and related piping components
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and offshore safety requirements
- Assist with hydro testing, line checks, and system preparation
- Work closely with welders, riggers, and offshore construction teams
- Maintain clean and safe work areas offshore
- Minimum 3–5 years of pipefitting experience
- Offshore experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and installation
- Ability to read and interpret ISO drawings and spool sheets
- Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
- Valid passport required
- Must be able to travel offshore and work rotational schedules
- TWIC card and offshore safety certifications are a plus
- Must pass drug screening and safety requirements
- Experience in offshore oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries
- Knowledge of offshore piping standards and procedures
- Familiarity with hydro testing and mechanical completion
- BOSIET, HUET, or additional offshore certifications preferred
