This is a full-time on-site role for a Phlebotomist, located in St. Louis, MO. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, accurately labeling and documenting these samples, and ensuring they are properly processed. Additional tasks include preparing patients for blood draws, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, and following all safety and infection control protocols. The Phlebotomist will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Blood Collection
- Experience in Medical Assisting and knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Understanding of Medicine and its practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in phlebotomy or completion of a phlebotomy training program
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
