We are an established personal injury law firm dealing with catastrophic and serious injury cases seeking a full-time Bilingual (English and Spanish) Paralegal.

As a Paralegal at Makkabi Law Group, you’ll work alongside an experienced team of trial attorneys and legal professionals who specialize in catastrophic and high-stakes injury cases.

You’ll strategically support attorneys in their practice by assisting with gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings, discovery summaries and responses, motions, and other documents. From discovery through trial, you’ll gain exposure to every phase of the process while contributing directly to impactful outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities:

• Drafts legal documents including but not limited to discovery motions, summary judgement motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters.
• Investigates factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests or other information inquiries.
• Performs legal research and analysis, both manually and on computers; compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data.
• Assistance with Spanish translation and dictation.
• Manages cases and files; organizes and maintains files.
• Performs factual and technical investigation and analysis of case issues.
• Assists in all phases of case preparation including discovery and trial. Prepares for and attends trials.
• Reviews and finalizes litigation budgets with outside counsel.
• Prepares jury instructions and trial binders; coordinates trial exhibits. Monitors legal fees, budgets, and project status.
• Provides general logistical help and supports the maintenance of legal files.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Can type at least 50 WPM.
• Individual must be organized and must have the ability to multitask.
• Personal Injury Law: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

• Paralegal certification/earned designation (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
