Position Overview
The First Steps Together Supervisor is responsible for providing both individual and group collaboration to Family Recovery Support Specialists and program clinician providing opportunities for ongoing review of implementation data, case discussion, peer support and skill building. This role is also responsible for providing outreach, recruitment, reporting, data collection and continuous quality improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provides at least one hour of individual collaboration weekly to each Family Recovery Support Specialist and clinician using objective, reflective and empathic interventions, and strategiesProvides 1-2 hours per week group collaboration/case review Holds bi-weekly meetings with Family Recovery Support Specialists Provides at least 2 hours of staff meetings monthly that cover administrative issuesWhen necessary, assists with significant client needs/crises - collateral contacts to DCF, ER, schools, etc.Conducts quality assurance calls for program participantsMonitors third-party billing performance and liaisons with M.O.C.’s behavioral health operations including their EHR system and clinical leadershipHolds project meetings, cross-site collaborationCompletes performance evaluations of each Family Recovery Support SpecialistDevelops/maintains relationships with community organizations to help grow and sustain the programParticipate in budget meetings with fiscal while working close with supervisor and fiscal team on budget oversight Monitors service documentation, data collection and reporting.Attends community meetings, including advisory committee Assists in the planning of parent groups and eventsEnsures continuous quality improvement Understand and fully support the Recovery Coach Mode
Required Skills And Qualifications
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with families and children, two of which must be in a supervisory capacityStrong knowledge of and commitment to various socioeconomic populations and issues affecting these families Considerable knowledge of the addiction treatment services system and support services BSAS approved Recovery Coach Academy Supervisor Certificate or ability to obtain certification within 2 months of hire date Experience with group planning and facilitationHigh degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and time management skills Excellent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software programs Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and effectively work with staff to achieve goals Knowledge and familiarity with DCF a plusDriver’s license and access to reliable transportationAt least 2 years of experience as a Family Recovery Support Specialist strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Compensation
A salary within the range of $30.24 - $40.91 per hour will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy.
