THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Saturday, December 19th @ 9:30pm
AfTer the success of last year’s holiday production Sleigh Bells and Satin, Making Faces Productions is back with another festive show—this time with a little edge. Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass: A Rockin’ Holiday is a cabaret filled with rock and alternative Christmas songs. Some are revamped versions of holiday classics, while others are festive originals. Featuring music from artists such as Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, Eagles, and more, it’s sure to be an electric night!
This is an unpaid gig. Singers are expected to sell a minimum of three tickets, at least two of which should be in person tickets. Livestream tickets will also be available for purchase. If ticket sale expectations are not met, the show runs the risk of being cancelled at the discretion of the venue.
Each performer will get a one-on-one rehearsal with the director and music director. There will also be one sitzprobe rehearsal with the band no more than two weeks before the show date. Singers will receive professionally recorded video footage of their performance.
Songs will be assigned at casting’s discretion. If you are only open to participating if you choose your own song, please note this in the appropriate box on the audition form. This will not affect your casting.
There will be a MANDATORY soundcheck from 3-4:15pm the day of the show at The Green Room 42. You must arrive back at the venue by 8:45pm before the performance.
Auditions are due November 1st. Casting decisions will be sent within a week of the deadline to all who submitted.
