We’re Hiring: Vice President of Sales & Marketing – Makinex (Texas, USA)

Makinex is an in innovative construction and rental equipment solutions—helping contractors, rental companies, and infrastructure teams work faster, safer, and more efficiently.

We’re now looking for a Vice President (VP) of Sales & Marketing to lead our next phase of growth across the United States.

About Makinex

Founded in 2004, Makinex designs and distributes award-winning, productivity-driven equipment for the construction, flooring, landscaping, and rental industries.

Our portfolio includes a broad range of equipment and solutions including:

  • Material handling solutions (e.g. powered hand trucks)
  • Surface preparation & flooring equipment (e.g. grinders, tile removal machines)
  • Mixing and pumping systems (e.g. mixing stations, forced action mixers)
  • Power solutions (e.g. generators, battery power systems)
  • Cleaning & site equipment (e.g. dual pressure washers, Hose2Go systems)

All engineered to eliminate inefficiencies and maximize jobsite productivity.

The Role

As VP of Sales & Marketing you will be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue growth and market share expansion across the US
  • Leading business development across key segments:

- Equipment rental (national & independent)

- Construction & concrete contractors

- Flooring and surface preparation professionals

- Infrastructure and industrial users

  • Building and executing a high-impact go-to-market strategy
  • Strengthening the Makinex brand presence across North America
  • Leading and scaling a high-performing sales & marketing team
  • Developing strategic partnerships and channel expansion

This is a hands-on role, leading from the front and inspiring your team to perform at high levels.

What Success Looks Like

  • Expansion of Makinex products into major rental chains and distributors
  • Strong penetration in Texas and broader US construction markets
  • Increased adoption of flagship solutions including:

- Mixing Stations (faster, hands-free material mixing)

- Powered Hand Truck (safer, single-operator lifting)

- Portable Power Box (clean, emission-free jobsite power)

- Renewable power solutions

  • Clear brand positioning as a premium productivity solution provider

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in B2B sales leadership (construction, equipment hire or infrastructure)
  • At least 10 years experience in key sales roles, including 5 years at senior management level
  • Experience scaling distribution networks and rental channels
  • Strong background in business development and strategic growth
  • Marketing leadership with ability to build brand and demand simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute and lead from the front
  • Must have rights to work in the USA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
