We are seeking a Sales Manager – Group & Business Transient (BT) Sales who will play a key role in driving revenue through a balanced mix of group bookings and corporate transient accounts.
As a proactive and results-driven sales professional, this individual will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and post-stay follow-up—while ensuring alignment with overall revenue strategies. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Operations teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and achieve financial goals.

Requested Tasks
- Group Sales
- Identify, solicit, and secure new group business across key market segments (corporate, association, SMERF, etc.)
- Respond to RFPs, lead negotiations, and manage contracts to maximize revenue and profitability
- Conduct site tours, client presentations, and hotel showcases
- Partner with Events/Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with planners to drive repeat business
- Business Transient (BT) Sales
- Prospect, develop, and manage a portfolio of corporate accounts to drive negotiated rate agreements
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking, and client visits to grow market share
- Analyze production reports and adjust strategies to optimize account performance
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to align pricing and availability strategies
- Revenue & Strategy
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Participate in weekly sales strategy and revenue meetings
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Identify trends and opportunities within the local market
- Relationship Management
- Serve as a brand ambassador for The Heathman Hotel in the local community
- Build strong internal partnerships across departments
- Deliver exceptional service throughout the sales cycle—from prospecting to post-stay follow-up
- 2–5 years of hotel sales experience, with exposure to both Group and Business Transient (BT) segments; experience within a luxury, lifestyle, or boutique property preferred
- Professional, personable, and approachable with strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities
- Proven track record of generating new business and successfully closing deals
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and projects while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Delphi, Salesforce, or simila
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong knowledge of the local market preferred
