What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brass Eye Cook position at Makeready LLC?
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up, stock, and organize workstations before, during, and after service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout each shift.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portioning.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to support smooth service.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and proper storage of food products.
- Monitor product quality and report any concerns to kitchen leadership.
- Support overall kitchen operations and assist with additional duties as assigned.
- At least 1 years of related professional cooking experience
- Experience with commercial restaurant cooking equipment
- Ability to follow sanitation and cleanliness procedures
- Culinary degree or related restaurant experience is preferred
- Great communication skills with both front and back of the house
- Handle a fast-paced cooking environment with ease
