As an AM Server at Yolan, you will play an essential role in creating refined and memorable dining moments for our guests through attentive service, elevated professionalism, and genuine warmth. Requested Tasks
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests during service
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the culinary team
- Ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and presented according to restaurant standards
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful service throughout the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper table presentation within assigned sections
- Collaborate closely with culinary, bar, and support teams to ensure seamless service execution
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with urgency, professionalism, and care
- Assist with opening, side work, and closing responsibilities as assigned
- Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
Requested Capabilities
- Previous serving experience in an upscale or luxury restaurant environment preferred
- Passion for hospitality and creating elevated guest experiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards preferred
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced dining environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and restaurant supplies weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly throughout the restaurant as needed
- Ability to work in a high-energy and fast-paced service environment
