What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Operations Manager position at Maker Table?
Maker Table is a high-growth, design-build metal fabrication shop located in Springfield, TN (just north of Nashville). What started in a garage in 2017 has quickly scaled into a tight-knit operation with sales spanning all 50 states and 27 countries. We’ve been recognized on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies and our custom fabrications have been featured twice in Architectural Digest. As we continue to scale, our rapid growth has highlighted our operational bottlenecks. We are searching for an exceptional, systems-minded Assistant Operations Manager to partner directly with the owner, organize daily production, and lead our 10-person shop floor crew. Position Overview & CultureThis is a results-driven, hands-on role for a leader who values efficiency over ego. We are a small, agile business where "that’s not my job" does not exist. You don't need decades of welding experience, but you must have a mechanical mind, a deep understanding of production flow, and a willingness to put on work gloves to help load a critical truck or crawl under a machine to solve a bottleneck alongside the team.
