Job Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of meals.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of knives and other kitchen tools.
- Participate in training sessions for new staff members as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including meal preparation and knife skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
