Production Specialist- 1st Shift

Kosan Crisplant, a MAKEEN Energy company, is a Global Innovator in the LPG Propane Industry.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor(s), the Production Specialist performs general duties of cylinder re-certification and preparing cylinders in a distribution facility. Duties include lifting, handling and moving propane cylinders, preparing, shipping, receiving while ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

At this Facility we inspect, wash, paint, fill, and re-qualify propane cylinders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line working, lifting, handling cylinders, following safe work procedures and policy
• Identifying and documenting all cylinders for processing
• Valving, date stamping and recording re-certified cylinders
• Sandblast, and Painting cylinders
• Cylinder filling, carousel
• Loading / unloading trucks / transports with forklift
• Other duties as assigned by facility supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working in a processing facility or warehouse, and forklift training an asset, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance programs
• Working within a team environment, production targets.
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
