SUMMARY 

As an integral member of the culinary team at our distinguished private restaurant, the Auric Room Steward plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining service. This position requires a commitment to excellence, ensuring that all delicate dishes and kitchenware are cleaned and sanitized with care, while also contributing to the overall preparation and organization that supports our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will bring dedication, precision, and a keen eye for detail, assisting in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. 

The ideal candidate for the Auric Room Steward position is someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and is eager to support our culinary team. They will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and possess the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the restaurant. Excellent teamwork skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong sense of responsibility are key qualities for success in this role. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchenware to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Assist kitchen staff by performing prep work, including chopping vegetables, prepping ingredients, and ensuring stations are fully stocked.
  • Maintain organization of the dishwashing area and ensure the smooth flow of dishes between the kitchen and dining room.
  • Help with general kitchen maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of delicate dishes and glassware to prevent damage.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking supplies in the kitchen and pantry areas.
  • Support the kitchen team during peak service times by ensuring the timely availability of clean dishes and tools.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures in accordance with health department regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen prep role in a fine dining or resort environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of proper dishwashing and food safety techniques.
  • A passion for working in a high-caliber hospitality environment and supporting the culinary team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

  • Frequent walking up and down stairs carrying food, dishes, and supplies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including trays, boxes, and kitchen equipment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot water and steam.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain physical stamina throughout shifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a team-oriented mindset.

Seasonal employees are hired to work for a pre-determined period of less than 12 months. At the end of the temporary period, employment is terminated. If a seasonal employee wishes to be considered for future employment, they may reapply but will be considered a new employee for all purposes.

 Seasonal Bonus Program

All hourly seasonal employees are eligible to participate.

  • $1 per regular hour worked
  • $1.50 per overtime hour worked
  • Applies to hours worked within defined seasonal dates
  • Short-term contracted roles are eligible

Employees who resign or are terminated prior to season completion are not eligible. If the season ends early due to business levels, eligible employees will still participate.


 Ranch Gratuity

  • Collected on all guest stays and ranch bookings
  • Added on to base hourly rate
  • Distributed to eligible employees

  • Priced at a subsidized rate
  • Dorm style, single family homes, ranging in distance from the Ranch


 Staff Cafeteria

  • Three meals daily

 Arrival Transportation
